Hand dryers impact the environment the least

RESEARCH Research by the Dutch Ministry of Internal Affairs has shown that electric hand drying systems have, in general, a lower impact on the environment compared to cotton roller towels and paper towels. What is a HEPA filter and why is it important?

Hand dryers have become indispensable players in the market due to the use of HEPA filters. These filters provide a better hygiene which, particularly in times of a pandemic, can no longer be ignored.

HEPA filters (High Efficiency Particulate Air) are large-capacity filters aimed at filtering minute little particles. HEPA filters remove more than 99.9% of the particles from the airflow passing through the filter. These particles can contain allergens, viruses, bacteria, chemical compounds, dust etc.

During the COVID-19 crisis the HEPA filters became increasingly important as they minimised the chance of the virus entering the house thereby reducing the chance of the virus being spread. Or, in other words, prevention is better than cure!
