HEPA filters are used in All Care Twinflow hands-in hand dryers. What kind of filters are these?

HEPA filters have a high-efficiency level of air purification. HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. HEPA filters also remove small particles from the air. A HEPA filter in an air cleaner removes dust, particulate matter, elements of smoke, mould, bacteria, dander and dust mite allergens from the air. HEPA filters must meet the demands of the US Department of Energy and are designed in such a way that dirt particles are caught by three different mechanisms. This makes these filters extremely effective. 
 
Depending on the level of pollution, HEPA filters will need to be replaced over time (usually after a half year - one year) to ensure they keep functioning optimally. HEPA replacement filters are available.
